Global Category Manager

Procurement of Materials for the Category of responsibility, including negotiation of prices and terms of supply.
Overall responsibility for global and local suppliers for the Category of responsibility.
Lead Category meetings with buyers across Towers sites.
Initiate and cooperate on cost improvement projects, with the involvement of cross-functional positions, such as Engineering and R D.
Elaborate and maintain Category Strategy over time, including market and suppliers analysis, business continuity plans, sourcing strategy.
Drive selection process of Suppliers and Materials, according to the Category strategy.
Monitor and measure suppliers performance and compliance with agreed terms of supply and quality requirements, through structured scorecards and business reviews process.
Drive vendor relations enhancement activities, as well as escalation and corrective action process.
