Instrumentation (DCS) Site Supervisor (m/f/d)

The project is set to commence in July and is anticipated to last for a minimum of 8 months, with the potential for extension.

Opportunities are available for both fixed-term employment and freelance contracts, catering to the preferences of the successful candidate.
The role demands a commitment of 56 hours per week and 6 day per week, reflecting the intensive nature of the project and its critical timelines.
RESPONSIBILITES
Set up Distributed Control System (DCS) and install necessary devices, including network equipment, patch cables, etc.
Establish AS - AS communication and conduct loop checks.
Adapt PCS7 configuration and HMI, and ensure function checks with electrical technicians for EMS loops and SWGR.
Perform function checks with Commission Manager and Vendor Representatives for machines.
Establish and test communication with all devices, including surge controllers, chiller units, analyzers, and VSDs.
Support commissioning activities, troubleshoot issues, and conduct surge tests, anti-cavitation parameter checks, and interlocks.
Assist with testing interaction between all trains and perform Safety Integrity Level (SIL) function checks.
Troubleshoot communication to other systems via Modbus protocol.
Document, redline, and report testing activities, coordinating with LEHQ office regularly.
Ensure error-free handover of DCS to the client.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in instrumentation installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to instrumentation and control systems.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise subcontractors and coordinate activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience with DCS systems and familiarity with documentation and specifications is preferred.
Certification in relevant areas such as instrument calibration or safety procedures is a plus.
