Instrumentation Engineer

IDE Technologies, a global leader in water desalination and treatment, is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer with hands-on design experience in instrumentation from an engineering or industrial company with the ability to work under pressure, and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Specification and design of instrumentation equipment, preparation of instrumentation specifications.
Wiring design from instrumentation to control equipment.
Preparation of HOOK-UP drawings.
Reading and understanding flow diagrams, P&IDs, and isometrics.
Supervision and inspection of installations.
Managing a team of instrumentation engineers in Israel and abroad, including leading global engineering team meetings and sprints.
Working with various interfaces inside and outside the organization, including managing subcontractors based on project needs.

Location: Kadima (on site)
Reporting to: Head of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Department.

Requirements:

Education: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant field – required
Experience: As an instrumentation engineer in the process industry – required
Experience managing employees – an advantage
Knowledge and experience in programming PLCs – an advantage
Experience in global companies – significant advantage
Familiarity with instrumentation design software such as SPI (Intools), AutoCAD
High level of English
Willingness to travel abroad for commissioning of facilities
