We’re Hiring: a Software QA Engineer to join a team working on advanced algorithmic and web-based systems, with a focus on testing ballistic calculations based in Yokneam, full-time (on-site).

Responsibilities

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Identify, record, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle
Perform thorough regression testing after bug fixes
Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products to meet client and system requirements
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to define and validate system requirements
Monitor and analyze debugging results and system behavior
Test ballistic calculations and algorithmic software components
Perform testing of ballistic software applications and algorithms

Requirements

Strong technical understanding and technical background – Must
Good English communication skills – Must
Full-stack knowledge – Must
Solid understanding of web architecture – Must
High-level mathematics and physics background (5 units) – Must
Practical software engineering experience -Advantage
Background or experience in Artillery / ballistic systems -Advantage
Experience with JIRA and Confluence -Advantage
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Fast learner with the ability to work independently
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
