Automation and Verification Team Lead

Mobileye's AV Group is looking for an Automation and Verification Team Lead to drive the development and validation of cutting-edge Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technologies. This role involves leading a team of skilled engineers in designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced validation frameworks for Mobileye’s L2+ to L4 autonomous platforms.As a Team Leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the verification and automation strategies, fostering technical excellence, and mentoring team members to ensure high-quality AV software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software architects, product managers, and simulation experts, to ensure our autonomous systems meet industry-leading safety and performance standards.What will your job look like:Lead and mentor a team of automation and verification engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovationDefine and implement robust verification methodologies to ensure the reliability and safety of Mobileye’s AV software and control systemsOversee the development of automated testing frameworks and simulation environments to enhance verification efficiencyWork closely with software development, product, and system teams to align verification efforts with product goalsEnsure adherence to industry standards (A-SPICE) and best practices in validation and verificationContinuously improve validation workflows, automation processes, and CI/CD pipelines to increase efficiencyStay up to date with the latest trends in software validation, automation, and autonomous vehicle technologiesAll you need is:7+ years of experience in software verification/validation, automation, or development, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleStrong proficiency in Python and modern C++Expertise in Linux-based development environments (GCC, Bash scripting)Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelinesProven ability to lead and mentor engineers, driving team growth and successExcellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to break down complex technical conceptsPassion for the automotive industry and autonomous driving technologiesExperience leading software validation/verification teams or projectsKnowledge of A-SPICE, and software safety standardsStrong background in developing and validating complex simulation scenariosA proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on innovationMobileye changes the way we drive, from preventing accidents to semi and fully autonomous vehicles.
