We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Product Development (PD) Assistant (for a Temporary, replacement for 6 monthes) to join our dynamic Sales and Product Development team.
This role is ideal for candidates with an agricultural background and a passion for developing innovative varieties that meet market demands.
Job description
planning seasonal trials by crop and geographical area, preparing field maps, allocating seeds, and coordinating logistics.
Conduct hands-on fieldwork, including planting at grower’s fields, weighing fruits, documenting data, and capturing field observations through photos.
Analyze trial results, draw conclusions, and prepare actionable recommendations.
Compile and present detailed reports summarizing findings, insights, and proposals for future development.
Support and assist the Product Development and Sales teams in achieving business and technical objectives.
Collaborate closely with breeding, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product development aligns with market demands.
Monitor competitor products and market trends to identify new opportunities.
What we expect of you
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related field- must
1–3 years of experience in agriculture.
Ability to work under variable environmental conditions associated with field work.
Willingness to driving extensively across Israel- Valid driving license is a must
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, self-motivated with teamwork abilities.
Creativity and “outside the box” thinking
strong computer skills.
