We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Alma QA team in Jerusalem. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Java + Selenium. The team consists of 6 QA Engineers and reports to the QA Team Leader.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

At least 2 years of experience in writing and performing automated tests based on design documents and manual test definitions

Automation with Selenium knowledge

Knowledge of Java

Proven previous experience in characterizing and documenting bugs in different systems

BA in software engineering/computer science.

English at a very high level both written and spoken

It would be great if you also had . . .

Knowledge of Oracle/SQL

Experience with Agile methodology

Familiarity with Unix / Linux

Ability to work in a team and good rapport with others

Orientation to details on one hand and a broad vision of the big picture on the other

Ability to work under pressure

Self-motivation and independence in work

What will you be doing in this role?

Working closely with Product & Architect teams from the design and requirement phase to a successful delivery

Working side by side with development and automation team members to build a comprehensive picture of velocity, coverage, and quality

Owning and leading all test-related activity and acting as a quality focal point for various stakeholders

About the Team

The Alma development team is fully located in Israel. It consists of about 50 developers and the QA group that divided between manual and automation teams.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model

This is a full-time position.
