Program Manager
Overview:
As a Program Manager at Questar Auto Technologies you will be responsible for leading end-to-end complex customer programs, collaborating closely with global customers, as well as cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Support, and other stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting customer expectations, and driving innovation in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
Lead and manage all aspects of complex customer programs from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for global customers, maintaining strong relationships and effectively managing communication channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams such as R&D, Operations, Support, Sales, and Quality Assurance to drive alignment and collaboration throughout the program lifecycle.
Coordinate and facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on project goals, progress, and any potential issues.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic plans for each program, including resource verification, risk management, and mitigation strategies.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
Risk Management:
Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions and ensure timely delivery.
Monitor and track program risks throughout the project lifecycle, escalating issues as needed to senior management.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at global customer organizations, understanding their requirements and providing timely updates on program status.
Anticipate customer needs and proactively address any concerns or issues to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Quality Assurance:
Drive a culture of quality and excellence throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
Implement robust quality assurance processes and metrics to measure program performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience of program management in the High Tech industry.
Experience in managing complex customer programs from initiation to delivery.
Experience within the automotive an advantage.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding multi-disciplinary technologies (HW, SW, SaaS).
Experience working with global customers and managing international projects is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues, develop solutions, and drive resolution.
PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
High proficiency in English
