Engineering Team Leader

A Global software company is looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead to build and scale its new Payments Platform, enabling global one-off and usage-based payments across all its products.

You’ll found and lead this initiative from scratch—hiring and growing a top-tier team, driving architecture and development, and shaping the future of payments at scale.

Requirements:

What You’ll Bring:

5+ years of engineering leadership, with proven experience hiring and managing high-performing teams
Deep expertise in payments or fintech systems
Strong platform engineering background: micro-services, event-driven systems, and versioned APIs
Solid grasp of security, compliance, and regulatory standards in payments
Proven ability to take products from 0 1 in fast-paced environments
Backend focus with understanding of modern frontend frameworks, such as Node.js
Excellent system design, problem-solving, and OOP skills
