As a Sr. Program Manager, you’ll work together with business teams to drive the delivery of a major e-commerce solution. You will work with key stakeholders to plan, monitor program schedules, identify/mitigate risks, drive issue resolution, and communicate progress. This role requires a background in delivering a global program and effectively partnering with the all the business functions involved (e.g., Product Management, Customer Service, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Legal).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage launch of a major e-commerce solution and drive its on-time delivery against objectives.
· Identify dependencies, risks, impediments, and misaligned priorities/opportunities across the enterprise, and then guide teams through thoughtful resolution processes.
· Establish clear visibility into plans and progress, across levels and disciplines, to ensure transparency and alignment of enterprise-wide stakeholders.
· Assist leadership in making critical program decisions.
· Anticipate and track operational risks associated with the solution delivery.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
· Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches
· Proven experience managing multiple, parallel, complex workstreams associated with a global desktop and mobile app launch
· Strength in influencing decision-making and bringing cross-functional teams to agreement.
· Skill in managing upwards and across the organization.
· Skill in managing and resolving ambiguity.
· Ability to think both tactically and strategically.
· Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues.
· Ability to conduct tradeoff analyses and develop written and oral briefings explaining the outcome of those analyses.
· Strong emotional intelligence that promotes productive relationships.
· Proven team player who embraces listening, straight talk, transparency, ownership, and accountability.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Self-directed, results-driven, self-aware team member who demonstrates humility while building and extending trust.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college/university.
· At least 4 - 6 years of proven experience as a program manager successfully delivering desktop and mobile applications.
· Proven success in managing increasingly complex, cross-functional global programs over time.
· PMP certification is a plus.
