Data Science Engineer

As a Data Science Engineer at Beamr, you will participate in shaping the company’s ML and AI R&D initiatives.Reporting to Beamrs’ AI Tech lead , you will work on developing and deploying ML solutions to enhance product offering and to increase efficiencies.ResponsibilitiesTake an active part in ML R&D projects from inception to deploymentDesign and perform benchmarks to evaluate impact of video processing on AI/ML solutionsBe part of the effort to stay abreast of the latest advancements in relevant AI/ML technologiesWork with stakeholders throughout the organization to leverage company data and knowledge to drive increased efficienciesRequirements:EducationMaster’s degree (MSc) in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldExperience3+ years of hands-on experience in industry oriented Computer Vision R&D3+ years Experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.Strong understanding of ML/DL algorithmsProven experience building ML/DL solutions in productionKnowledge of large scale ML systems / LLMFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Knowledge of image / video compression - an advantageExperience in the Autonomous Vehicle industry - an advantageSkillsCurious, fast learner who enjoys the challenge of a good riddleA team worker, well suited to hybrid work mode with good time-management skillsAbility to methodically define, setup, run, analyze & document projectsAble to work independently - monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutionsExcellent spoken and written English
