Located in the Central District directly adjacent to primary train transit, operating on an in-office model with flexibility for one day working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as the Lead Data Scientist & Founding Data Authority, establishing the entire data science, predictive modeling, and machine learning foundation of the company from the ground up.
• Holding complete 0-to-1 ownership over algorithmic strategy, research, prototyping, and deploying production-grade Machine Learning and Personalization models.
• Designing and implementing state-of-the-art Recommendation Systems and Content Discovery Engines tailored for high-frequency mobile user sessions and short-form video consumption patterns.
• Driving algorithmic personalization pipelines, user churn/retention prediction models, dynamic content ranking, and contextual engagement scoring.
• Defining data architecture standards in collaboration with Core Backend and Product engineering to build scalable ML inference and feature store pipelines.
• Formulating experimentation frameworks, A/B testing methodologies, and analytical metrics to quantify model impact on user lifetime value (LTV), watch time, and conversion.
• Serving as a strategic technological partner to executive leadership, translating business objectives into high-impact algorithmic deliverables.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or an equivalent quantitative discipline – Mandatory
• At least 5 years of proven professional hands-on experience as a Data Scientist / Applied ML Scientist – Mandatory
• Deep, proven hands-on track record developing, tuning, and deploying Machine Learning models in Production environments – Mandatory
• Proven background and specialization in Personalization, Recommendation Systems, or User Behavior Modeling – Mandatory
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and advanced data modeling using SQL – Mandatory
• Exceptional autonomy and self-directed execution capability, with a proven track record of driving projects end-to-end as a sole contributor or domain leader – Mandatory
• Fluent professional communication in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
