Material Planning ManagerPurpose of the job:Manage the team in charge of activities of Material Planning needs expression towards suppliers.Ensure application of Procure to Pay core model processes for material planning activities & master data management.Deploy action plan for performance improvement & risk management & cost efficiency.Main responsabilities:MissionsApply core model process for material planning activities (external & internal suppliers) and master dataManage Supplier's performances KPI's & raw material coverage according to targetsCollaborate with Procurement for risk/impact management process including supplier selectionEnsure the action plans implementation between Teams and SuppliersLead the supplier escalation process supporting Material Planners on animation of Supplier’s KPI performanceTasksInternal suppliers: Ensure the core model process & organization from Purchase Requisition to Material Planning documentsExternal suppliers: Ensure the core model process to launch Material Planning documentsEnsure the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock, logistic constraints and supplier contractual agreements)Ensure the creation of Material Planning documents in line with Procure to Pay core model processesOrganize and maintain regular reviews with Material Planners to ensure documents are sent to suppliers and respective delivery confirmation are receivedEnsure the MRP exception messages analyses performed by all Material Planners and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand…)Support Material Planners when issues identified and evaluate the risk/impact on production/projectsSet up recovery actions with main stakeholdersSupporting Material Planners in applying and follow the missing parts process application until stock availabilityValidate deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External) and action plansValidate the top worst Suppliers with SDPM and support appropriate action planEnsure application of appropriate communication routine with Suppliers based on their delivery performances by Material PlannersEnsure the application (when necessary) of Supplier Capacity ManagementEnsure the application (when necessary) of Supplier's Light Capability Assessment (LSCA)Contribute to risk/impact assessments and mitigation action planManage team performance, develop team competencies & provide feedback and register during Performance Management CycleGeneral scopeApply APSYS (Alstom Production System) roadmap and Golden RulesRespect Alstom EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policyParticipate to EHS improvement and targets achievementRespect Alstom Ethics & Compliance codesEducational Requirements :Mandatory:Graduated at least from Higher Education in Business Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain.EnglishDesirable:Supply Chain or Project Management certificationLocal languageExperienceMandatory:Experience of: Supply Chain activities and projects, leading teamsDesirable:Knowledgeable of SAP or similar ERPS, auditsCompetencies & SkillsMaterials requirements planningSupplier Delivery Performance ManagementInventory management & Material Planning techniquesSupply Chain Information SystemsIndustrial schedulingTransport & DistributionProcurementLean ManagementTeam ManagementEntrepreneurshipAgilityCollaborationGlobal VisionThe future of transportation is already here.Alstom, with recorded sales of 7.3 billion in the 2016/17 fiscal year, is the world leader in integrated transport systems and continues to push the boundaries of innovation & digital solutions for transportation systems and e-mobility.
