We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to own and grow ScaleOps' social presence, with a focus on building a strong, recognizable brand in the developer and cloud infrastructure community. This is not a pure content scheduling role — we're looking for someone with creative instincts, a genuine feel for what resonates online, and the drive to build something from the ground up. You'll own our external brand voice and play a key role in shaping how we show up internally as a company people want to work for.

• 2-4 years of experience in social media, content, or brand marketing, ideally in a B2B tech or startup environment
• Native or near-native English proficiency, a must. The majority of our audience and content is in English and writing quality is non-negotiable
• Proven experience creating content for developer, DevOps, or engineering audiences, a must. You understand how technical communities think, what they find credible, and what makes them cringe
• A strong portfolio showcasing social content you have personally created and grown
• Eye for design and visual storytelling, experience with tools like Canva, Figma, or similar is a plus
• Genuine interest in the cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure space, you don't need to be an engineer but you need to be curious enough to learn the language
• Experience building or contributing to employer branding content is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with social analytics tools and a data-informed approach to content strategy

• Own ScaleOps' social media presence across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, managing content calendars, posting cadence, and channel-specific strategy
• Create and produce engaging content, including posts, carousels, short-form video, and visual assets, that builds brand awareness in the DevOps and cloud infrastructure community
• Develop and maintain ScaleOps' employer brand on social, showcasing company culture, team stories, and life at ScaleOps to attract top talent
• Monitor trends, conversations, and community activity in the Kubernetes, cloud, and infrastructure space and find creative ways to insert ScaleOps into relevant narratives
• Collaborate with the marketing, product, and people teams to amplify launches, milestones, and company news
• Support executive social presence, helping key leaders at ScaleOps build their personal brand and thought leadership online
• Track and report on engagement, follower growth, and content performance, using data to continuously refine the approach
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, ideation, and performance analysis
