VP Engineering

VP Engineering will lead the company’s engineering organisation, overseeing the development of advanced defence systems & technologies.

This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical and system expertise with strong leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the engineering vision and roadmap aligned with company goals and market priorities.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team across software, hardware, aerodynamics, mechanical, algorithms, validation & verification and more.
Program Oversight: Ensure successful delivery of complex, multi-year defence programs on time and within budget.
Innovation & R&D: Drive innovation in AI, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, advanced warheads, payloads, launch systems and other emerging technologies.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across project management, system engineering, production, marketing and business development to ensure engineering efforts are aligned with company-wide goals and operational timelines.
Quality & Reliability: Champion engineering excellence, system reliability, moving from design to production, deploying DFx processes and rigorous testing protocols including validation, verification and automatic testing of Hardware & Software QA.

Qualifications

Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
Experience: 10+ years in engineering leadership roles, preferably in the defence or aerospace industry.
Technical Expertise: Proven technological experience in relevant fields.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Team Player: Being part of top management, lead by example, working very well across the org, bringing high energy with “can-do attitude” building healthy culture of growth with mentoring.
