Chief Technology Officer

Cover is hiring a CTO.

Cover is an all-in-one operating platform for restaurants. It replaces the separate systems a restaurant typically runs (POS, reservations, purchasing, workforce management, CRM and marketing) with a single platform built on one shared data layer, with AI embedded across operations.

The product is live in production. Restaurants and cafés run their daily service on Cover, and our customer base is growing steadily.

We are now looking for a CTO to take full ownership of the technology and lead it through the next stage of growth.

The role

– End-to-end ownership of architecture, infrastructure, security and platform stability

– Building and leading the engineering team

– Defining the technical roadmap together with the CEO

– Driving the development of AI capabilities across the product

What we are looking for

– Proven experience leading the development of a SaaS product in production

– Deep expertise in React, React native, Javascript and Node.js, and in multi-tenant architecture

– Hands-on leadership: able to set direction and ship

– Experience with payments, POS hardware integration or AI/LLM systems is an advantage

This is a senior leadership position, at a company with a live product, paying customers and a large, underserved market.
