System Infrastructure Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced System Infrastructure Administrator to join the infrastructure team of a leading financial organization in Rishon LeZion.

The role focuses on managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise Web and Application infrastructure, supporting development teams, and ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Web Application infrastructure, including WebSphere (WAS), IIS, Apache, Tomcat, and PHP.
• Oversee application deployments, releases, and production stability.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of Web, Application, and Telephony infrastructure.
• Provide ongoing technical support to development teams, QA teams, and external vendors.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Perl, and VB.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and integration processes.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Take technical ownership of infrastructure systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements - Must Have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar System Infrastructure role within a large enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Web Application technologies such as WebSphere Application Server (WAS), IIS, Apache, Tomcat, and PHP.
• Experience working with multiple operating systems.
• Experience in scripting using PowerShell, VB, Perl, and Bash.
• Familiarity with internet-facing security solutions and Web security technologies.
• Experience writing technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take technical ownership and lead infrastructure-related activities.
• Strong communication skills, independent learning capabilities, and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work outside standard business hours when required.

Nice to Have:

• Relevant academic degree.
• Familiarity with OpenShift.
• Familiarity with JKE.
• Knowledge of IBM internet security solutions.
• Experience with DevOps technologies and practices.
• Experience mentoring or training team members.
