Job Summary

We are looking for a curious, hands-on, and highly motivated Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Israel.

This is a unique opportunity to combine traditional embedded firmware development with modern engineering automation and AI-native development practices.

You will develop firmware for advanced high-speed connectivity products, build automated regression testing infrastructure, and help shape how AI-powered engineering tools and agents are integrated into our development workflows.

We are looking for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, takes ownership, and is passionate about building both great products and the tools that make engineering teams more effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for advanced high-speed connectivity products.
• Develop firmware for bare-metal microcontroller environments, working closely with hardware and system engineering teams.
• Design and build advanced engineering automation solutions, including automated regression testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and continuous integration workflows.
• Develop intelligent automation tools and AI-powered engineering solutions to improve firmware development, testing, debugging, and overall engineering productivity.
• Explore, prototype, and implement AI agent-based workflows, helping shape the next generation of AI-native engineering practices.
• Build and maintain Python-based tools and infrastructure to streamline engineering processes and improve software quality.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams on system integration, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and hardware/software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, or relevant hands-on experience gained in an elite military technology unit.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software or firmware development.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C programming.
• Good programming skills in Python, with an interest in automation and developer tooling.
• Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures, memory, interrupts, and hardware interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with embedded debugging tools (JTAG/SWD debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently investigate complex technical challenges.
• A proactive mindset, strong learning capabilities, and enthusiasm for new technologies.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Advantages

• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Experience developing automation tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Experience with command-line build systems (CMake, CMSIS-Toolbox, etc.).
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, and UART.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Personal projects involving developer tools, automation, or AI-based engineering solutions.
• Experience with high-speed connectivity, networking, or communication systems
