A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Full Stack Development Team Lead to lead a hands-on engineering team as part of a large-scale financial platform modernization project.

This role combines technical leadership, people management, hands-on development, and end-to-end delivery ownership using C#, .NET, React, Cloud technologies, and AI-powered software development tools.

You'll work closely with the Development Manager, Product teams, and technical stakeholders to modernize complex financial systems while embedding AI into the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a full stack development team, including task allocation, technical guidance, progress tracking, and code reviews.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership using C#, .NET, and React, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools and AI SDLC practices into everyday engineering workflows.
• Establish development practices and measure the effectiveness of AI tools across requirements analysis, coding, testing, code review, and DevOps.
• Design and implement technical solutions as part of a large-scale financial platform modernization project.
• Collaborate with the Development Manager, Product teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Independently lead complex technical initiatives and resolve cross-team dependencies.
• Own engineering delivery, development priorities, and timelines in an Agile environment.
• Investigate production incidents and lead technical resolutions from analysis through implementation.
• Work with service architectures, APIs, system integrations, Cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD processes.
• Support the transition from legacy systems to modern application architectures.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of Full Stack development experience with .NET / C# and React.
• Strong hands-on server-side development expertise.
• At least 3 years of experience managing a software development team.
• Experience working in a large organization with multiple development teams and stakeholders.
• Daily, hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent solutions.
• Proven experience introducing AI development tools and AI SDLC practices into a software engineering team.
• Professional experience in the financial sector, particularly payments, cards, or banking.
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architectures, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience with Cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Strong ownership, initiative, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
