Located in the Central District directly adjacent to primary train transit, operating on an exceptionally flexible hybrid model with three days working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Backend & AI Engineering Team Lead, heading an elite squad of 3–4 software and AI engineers while reporting directly to the Director of Engineering.
• Maintaining a balanced leadership role combining direct people management, technical mentorship, and approx. 50% hands-on development.
• Driving the architecture, implementation, and production deployment of autonomous AI Agents designed to parse, inspect, and validate complex structural blueprints and engineering documentation.
• Taking end-to-end ownership over engineering delivery, system reliability, architectural design, and code quality across modern distributed cloud systems.
• Guiding backend architecture primarily centered around Python and Go within a cloud-native, microservices-driven ecosystem (open to any strong modern programming language background).
• Collaborating cross-functionally with product leaders, machine learning specialists, and US stakeholders to deliver high-impact features directly into live enterprise customer environments.

Requirements-

• Proven engineering management / technical leadership experience leading a team of developers – Mandatory
• At least 5 years of solid hands-on software development experience with deep focus on Backend engineering – Mandatory
• Strong, verified background in modern Cloud architectures (AWS preferred) and containerized microservices – Mandatory
• Practical hands-on experience or deep architectural familiarity with AI technologies, LLMs, or Agentic AI workflows – Mandatory
• Proven track record designing, building, and operating scalable distributed systems in production environments – Mandatory
• Fluent, professional technical communication capabilities in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
