A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to develop, implement, and monitor predictive and decision-making models in a complex enterprise environment.

This hands-on role combines advanced data analysis, research methodology, SQL, Python, and practical model development.

You'll work with large datasets, investigate complex business processes, evaluate model performance, and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business and technical stakeholders.

We're looking for someone who goes beyond data extraction and reporting, with proven experience developing, implementing, or validating analytical models.

What You'll Do

• Perform advanced data analysis of complex business processes and generate actionable insights.
• Define research questions and develop appropriate analytical methodologies.
• Develop and implement predictive models and decision-making models.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance using reports and analytical tools.
• Design and execute tests for decision-making logic and model behavior.
• Investigate anomalies, operational issues, and unexpected model results.
• Work with large enterprise datasets and write complex SQL queries.
• Develop Python-based solutions for Data Analytics, Predictive Analytics, and Machine Learning.
• Maintain model documentation and track changes throughout the model lifecycle.
• Present analytical findings, conclusions, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries against databases in large organizations.
• Significant analytical experience beyond data extraction, including defining research questions, conducting analysis, and drawing conclusions.
• At least 1 year of hands-on Python development experience for Data Analytics, Predictive Analytics, or Machine Learning.
• Practical experience developing, implementing, or validating analytical models.
• Experience analyzing complex business systems and processes.
• Experience working in large enterprise organizations with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex analytical challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Ability to clearly explain and support analytical findings and recommendations.
• Strong curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to learn independently.
• A stable professional background and motivation for long-term professional development.

Education

• Relevant academic degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Economics, Information Systems, or another relevant quantitative field.

Advantages

• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with Jira or Monday.com.
• Experience with Visual Analytics and tools such as Tableau.
