Senior Acoustic Data Research Scientist

We are looking for an experienced Senior Acoustic Data Research Scientist to join a technology company developing advanced AI and Machine Learning solutions.

This role involves applied research, development of advanced Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, analysis of complex acoustic data, and driving innovative solutions from research and experimentation to practical implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Research, develop, and optimize advanced algorithms for Acoustic Data Analysis.
Design and implement Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for acoustic signal processing, analysis, and classification.
Develop methods for pattern recognition, acoustic event detection, and sound source classification.
Process and analyze acoustic signals, including feature extraction, noise reduction, and time-frequency analysis.
Plan and conduct experiments, analyze results, and evaluate model performance.
Explore and implement state-of-the-art research methods to address complex technological challenges.
Collaborate with research, algorithm development, and software engineering teams to integrate solutions into advanced technological systems.

Requirements

Must-Have:
Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
At least 8 years of professional experience in Machine Learning.
At least 3 years of experience in Acoustic Data Analysis.
Proven experience researching, developing, and implementing Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in acoustic signal processing and analysis.
Experience designing experiments, analyzing results, and evaluating model performance.
Strong analytical thinking, research capabilities, and independent problem-solving skills.

Significant Advantages:
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in applied research and transitioning algorithms from research environments into production or operational systems.
Hands-on experience with Python and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and SciPy.
Experience in areas such as Audio Classification, Acoustic Event Detection, Sound Source Localization, or Noise Reduction.
Strong knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP), spectral analysis, and time-frequency signal processing.
Experience working with acoustic sensor data or multi-sensor systems.
Scientific publications in leading Machine Learning, Audio Processing, or Signal Processing conferences or journals.
