CPP Team Lead

We are seeking an outstanding C++ Software Team Lead to direct a core R&D team building enterprise-grade, high-availability storage platforms. In this hands-on technical leadership role, you will architect ultra-low latency, clustered server-side environments designed for extreme throughput, high scalability, and cyber resilience. You will lead a dedicated group of 2–8 engineers, balancing complex C++ system design, file system IO optimization, and legacy refactoring with elite people management.

Core Responsibilities

• Engineering Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of 2–8 C++ software engineers, driving execution, career growth, and technical standards.
• Low-Level Server-Side C++: Write and optimize highly concurrent, multi-threaded C++ code operating in Linux clustered environments.
• File System IO Performance: Architect high-level and detailed designs for next-generation storage features, optimizing IO pipelines, throughput, and system health tracking.
• Architectural Refactoring: Own legacy code maintenance, structural refactoring, and core kernel/file system integration.
• Agile Execution: Lead team delivery using modern Agile/Scrum methodologies, driving sprint planning, design reviews, and continuous operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of proven hands-on experience in C++ over Linux systems engineering (experience with Go or Python is also highly relevant) – Mandatory.
• Leadership Track Record: Proven experience leading a software development team or sub-group in a high-tech R&D organization – Mandatory.
• Academic Credentials: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized academic institution – Mandatory.
• Core Systems Mindset: Strong problem-solving capabilities, low-level concurrency mastery, and an ability to drive complex technical initiatives independently.
