Mobile Developer (Android + iOS)

Build the mobile experience behind Senseer’s sensor systems

Senseer develops advanced sensors and detection systems for the defense and security sectors. We’re now building the mobile application that connects users, hardware, and the cloud - and we’re looking for an experienced mobile developer to own it.

This is not a screens-only role. You’ll lead the mobile side end to end, working across hardware integration, communication protocols, data synchronization, security, performance, and release.

What you’ll do

* Build our Android and iOS applications from the ground up, including architecture, UI, performance, testing, and store releases.

* Connect the apps to physical hardware using BLE - including GATT, pairing, and over-the-air firmware updates-and NFC for reading, writing, and tag provisioning.

* Implement and maintain the communication protocol used by our firmware, covering framing, retries, error handling, and offline synchronization.

* Own mobile security, including TLS certificate pinning, secure key storage with Android Keystore and the iOS Secure Enclave, and encryption at rest and in transit.

* Design the local data layer using technologies such as SQLite, Room, or Core Data, as well as reliable two-way synchronization with the backend.

* Work closely with embedded, backend, data, product, and QA teams to take features from initial requirements through production.

* Help shape technical and product decisions in an environment where requirements will not always be complete.

What we’re looking for

* At least four years of professional mobile development experience.

* A track record of shipping and maintaining production applications on both Android and iOS.

* Strong experience with native development, Kotlin Multiplatform, or Flutter-and a clear point of view on which approach best fits the product.

* Hands-on BLE and/or NFC experience with physical devices, beyond integrating high-level libraries.

* A solid understanding of mobile security, binary communication protocols, networking, and offline-first application design.

* Experience designing local data models and synchronizing them with cloud services.

* The ability to diagnose issues across application, connectivity, firmware, and backend boundaries.

* Comfort working from an evolving PRD: asking the right questions, resolving ambiguity, documenting decisions, and moving forward.
