Core Systems Project Manager

Core Systems Project Manager | Enterprise IT

A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Core Systems Project Manager to lead complex software development and information systems projects in a large enterprise environment.

The role involves end-to-end project ownership, from initiation and planning through production deployment, including project roadmaps, MVP planning, budget management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional leadership.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, systems analysts, infrastructure, information security, and QA teams to deliver business-critical enterprise systems.

What You'll Do

• Lead complex core systems and information systems development projects from initiation through production deployment.
• Build project plans, define milestones, and divide projects into MVPs.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate external vendors and subcontractors.
• Lead project status meetings and steering committees.
• Prepare management presentations, status reports, and meeting summaries.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Information Security, Infrastructure, Systems Analysis, Development, and QA.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to align business requirements with project execution.
• Identify business and technical dependencies across enterprise systems.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, resolve blockers, and ensure project progress through completion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing Information Systems projects in large enterprise organizations.
• Experience managing software development projects involving enterprise core systems.
• Proven experience managing projects end-to-end, from initiation through production deployment.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders as well as technical teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrix organizational structure.
• Experience managing project budgets, risks, timelines, and dependencies.
• Experience leading steering committees and preparing reports and presentations for management.
• Experience working with Jira, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of enterprise information systems and business processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience working in large, structured organizations.

Significant Advantages

• Experience working internally within a financial, banking, or regulated organization, rather than exclusively as an external service provider.
• Knowledge of banking systems and business processes.
• Technical background or previous software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
