Backend Tech Lead

COMBLACK is hiring a Backend Chapter Lead!

We are looking for an experienced Backend Chapter Lead to join a leading financial organization and drive technical excellence across multiple development teams.

This strategic, hands-on leadership role involves defining backend architecture, establishing engineering standards, leading cross-team initiatives, and mentoring developers across the

organization.

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in software and backend development – Required
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Proven experience providing technical leadership across multiple development teams
• Strong experience with Microservices and Distributed Systems
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong architecture, mentoring, and technical leadership skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Fintech, Banking, or Payments
• Experience with OpenShift
• Familiarity with AI-Assisted Development
