Microsoft System Administrator (5515)

A leading organization is looking for an experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator to join its infrastructure team.

The role is part of a professional team responsible for the operation, maintenance, upgrades and ongoing management of enterprise infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance and upgrades of Windows and Linux operating systems in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Management and support of Microsoft 365 environments.
• Working with Kubernetes and container-based environments.
• Working with OpenShift and Red Hat environments – an advantage.
• Managing and supporting infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, backup and VDI environments.
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and providing solutions across complex environments.
• Working with multiple infrastructure technologies and supporting system integrations.
• Participating in infrastructure projects, upgrades and technology implementations.
• Working as part of a professional team and collaborating with other IT and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar Systems / Infrastructure role – required.
• Experience working in a large enterprise environment, with hundreds of servers and thousands of users – required.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 – required.
• Experience with Linux – required.
• Experience with Kubernetes – required.
• Experience with OpenShift and/or Red Hat – a significant advantage.
• Experience with Citrix / VDI environments – an advantage.
• Experience with storage, backup and server environments – an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Additional Information

• Full-time position.
• Hybrid work – 2 days from home.
• No regular on-call or weekend work. Occasional availability in the evening may be required in exceptional situations.
• The position is suitable for candidates with strong experience from the IDF/ military who have subsequently gained relevant professional experience in their first civilian role.
