Salary: ILS 20,000 – 30,000 per month

About the Role

Chery Automobile is expanding its connected vehicle operations in Israel and is looking for an Operations Engineer to keep its key connected-car systems running reliably. You will be the first line of support for the Telematics Service Provider (TSP), OTA, PKI and mobile App platforms, working with local after-sales technical managers and cross-functional teams in China and Israel.

Responsibilities

System operations: Run day-to-day operations of key connected vehicle systems (TSP, OTA, PKI, App), including routine inspections, monitoring and incident handling. Analyze root causes of failures and resolve them to keep systems stable

Customer support: Respond promptly to connected-vehicle issues raised by customers and provide professional technical support

Team coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams and departments to resolve issues and keep operations running smoothly

OTA management: Support and control the OTA process at each stage (deployment, testing, release) to ensure OTA tasks are completed successfully

Technical training: Plan and deliver English-language connected vehicle after-sales technical training for after-sales technical managers and local operations staff

Cross-border data management: Handle troubleshooting data requests, including log collection and anonymization, ensuring data compliance

Documentation: Write high-quality operations reports, briefings and presentations that accurately record incident progress and results

Operations support: Support App, MNO and OTA platform operations and resolve issues raised by local after-sales technical managers

Requirements

Degree (B.Sc.), Practical Engineer diploma or Technician diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field. Candidates with equivalent technical skills and experience are also welcome

Basic troubleshooting skills and hands-on network and system operations experience

Able to work in English

Willing to work in a 7×24 operations support model (shift or on-call, to be confirmed)

Preferred

Experience in automotive electronics, connected vehicles, TSP, telecom networks or IT technical support
