We Are Hiring | Head of Legal – Family Office

We are looking for an experienced, business-oriented, and hands-on Head of Legal to lead the legal function of a private Family Office in Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and develop the in-house legal team, ensuring effective allocation of responsibilities, quality of legal work, and timely delivery.
• Provide comprehensive legal advice to senior management on corporate, commercial, contractual, and operational matters.
• Manage legal matters from initiation to completion, including legal analysis, risk assessment, strategy development, documentation, negotiations, and implementation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including service agreements, investment-related documents, financing arrangements, real estate contracts, and other legal instruments.
• Oversee corporate governance matters, corporate structures, shareholder resolutions, board documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage disputes, claims, pre-litigation matters, and litigation proceedings, including developing legal strategies and coordinating with external counsel.
• Select, instruct, supervise, and evaluate external legal advisors across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost control.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks associated with business activities, transactions, and operational decisions.
• Coordinate cross-border legal matters involving different jurisdictions, legal systems, and external stakeholders.
• Establish and improve internal legal processes, documentation standards, reporting procedures, and contract management practices.
• Ensure timely execution of legal projects, monitor deadlines, and provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, primarily in corporate and commercial law.
• Proven managerial experience leading legal teams.
• Israeli law degree and valid Israeli Bar Association license.
• Experience in complex commercial transactions, dispute resolution, and international legal matters.
• Fluency in English, Hebrew, and Russian – mandatory.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with legal and document management systems.
