Assembly Engineer

Amarel is Hiring an Assembly Documentation Engineer!

Amarel provides professional and complementary services to defense and civilian customers in Israel and worldwide. We are looking for an Assembly Documentation Engineer to work with a leading customer in the semiconductor and chip manufacturing equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, from prototype integration through to serial production.
• Create, update, and improve engineering documentation, including assembly instructions, manufacturing procedures, and test procedures.
• Review, update, and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Review and validate mechanical and electrical drawings, ensuring their suitability for manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with R&D and engineering teams, as well as suppliers in the fields of mechanical enclosures, cabling, electronics, and integrated assemblies.

Requirements:

• Practical Engineer Diploma in Electronics – mandatory.
• 1–3 years of experience in NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations Engineering.
• Proven experience in manufacturing and assembly processes of multidisciplinary products, including hardware, mechanical enclosures, cabling, and system integration.
• Ability to read, understand, and review mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Inventor – mandatory.
• Familiarity with electrical design software, such as Capital – mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs – mandatory.
• Strong technical writing skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Experience with PLM/ERP systems, particularly Teamcenter – a significant advantage.
