C# Desktop Software Developer | Active Civilian Level 1 Security Clearance

A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced C# Desktop Software Developer with valid civilian Level 1 security clearance to develop Windows desktop applications, software-hardware interfaces, and complex control systems.

This hands-on development role combines C# programming, hardware integration, database connectivity, and system requirements analysis in a complex, multi-system technology environment.

You will develop software components, collaborate with technical stakeholders, and take ownership of software modules and development work packages.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain desktop software applications in Windows environments
• Write, develop, and maintain code using C# and Visual Studio
• Develop software-hardware interfaces and control systems
• Integrate software applications with hardware components
• Develop interfaces and integrations with databases
• Analyze technical requirements and contribute to system specifications
• Lead software development work packages and modules from design through implementation
• Work across complex systems and multiple technical interfaces

What We're Looking For

• Valid civilian Level 1 security clearance — mandatory
• At least 2 years of experience developing Windows desktop software applications
• At least 1 year of experience developing with C# and Visual Studio
• At least 1 year of experience developing software-hardware interfaces and control systems
• At least 1 year of experience developing database interfaces
• Ability to lead software development work packages and take ownership of software modules

Advantages

• Experience with Blazor or WPF using the MVVM architectural pattern
• Experience designing and developing complex systems with multiple interfaces
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and Design Patterns

Education & Professional Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualification paths:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Another bachelor's degree combined with at least 300 hours of studies in computerized Information Systems
• Another engineering degree combined with at least 200 hours of software studies
• Practical Engineering diploma in Computers or a relevant technology field
• At least 400 hours of advanced Information Systems courses, without an academic degree
• Relevant technological experience combined with graduation from an IDF technological unit, such as Mamram, Unit 8200, C4I, a comparable unit, and/or a relevant military technology training program
