Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

We are seeking a versatile mid-level Software Engineer to join our core development team. As a small, fast-moving startup, we value engineers who move comfortably across the stack - from desktop applications to backend services and the data layer - rather than staying in a single specialty.

Responsibilities:
-Hands-on experience building desktop applications (WPF) and backend services (WebAPI).
-Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools as a core part of the development workflow - directing them effectively and critically reviewing and validating AI-generated code before it lands.
-Take features from definition through implementation, testing, and release, owning quality and reliability of your work.
-Work across the stack as needed - versatility matters more than specialization on our team.
-Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, and QA during planning and delivery.
-Participate in code reviews, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of our engineering practices.
-Work as part of an Azure DevOps–based Scrum process.

Requirements:
-3+ years of experience in software development with C#/.NET.
-Hands-on experience building desktop applications (WPF) and backend services (WebAPI) using AI-assisted coding tools as a core part of the daily development workflow - including directing them effectively and critically reviewing and validating AI-generated code before it lands.
-Experience working with data-layer components (SQL and/or NoSQL).
-Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams with a solid understanding of software development lifecycles and version control.
-Strong problem-solving skills, an ownership mindset, and the communication skills to work cross-functionally across the stack.
-Comfortable working in a structured environment... regulatory compliance is owned by dedicated team members.

Advantage:
-Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines).
-Automation and scripting skills — PowerShell, Python, GitHub, and related technologies.
-Experience with Azure cloud services.
-Familiarity with medical device / regulated software environments.
