QA Engineer

A well-funded Israeli Deep Tech and Advanced Manufacturing company engineering next-generation, high-precision industrial systems for the global electronics and semiconductor markets.

Employing an elite multidisciplinary team of dozens of specialists, the company develops a proprietary hardware-software platform combining advanced physics, opto-mechanics, and real-time control software for sub-micron industrial manufacturing.

Located in the Central/Lowland District with dedicated shuttle transit from the train station, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Multidisciplinary QA Engineer (Hardware & Software), joining the core R&D development team and reporting directly to the Software/R&D Team Lead.
• Taking hands-on ownership over comprehensive manual testing, designing detailed Test Plans (STP/STD), test scenarios, and verification matrices for complex integrated systems.
• Conducting rigorous end-to-end verification covering Hardware-Software integration, embedded control layers, and Client/Server software architectures.
• Validating new product features, reproducing field/system anomalies, logging defects, and collaborating closely with developers through bug triage and resolution.
• Serving as the primary technical quality bridge connecting R&D engineering squads with production, assembly, and field operations teams.
• Participating actively in system-level bring-up, machine calibration testing, and operational stress verification across electro-mechanical and laser subsystems.

Requirements-

• At least 5 years of experience in combined Hardware & Software testing – Mandatory
• Proven background and hands-on experience working in Multidisciplinary tech companies (systems integrating software, hardware, mechanics, or electro-optics) – Mandatory
• Strong, proven capabilities in writing comprehensive Test Plans, Test Cases (STD/STP), and test documentation from scratch – Mandatory
• Solid practical experience verifying Client/Server software architectures and complex desktop/control applications – Mandatory
• Deep analytical troubleshooting skills, high technical curiosity, and ability to bridge software logic with physical hardware behaviors – Mandatory
• Fluent professional communication in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
