About The Role

We're looking for a Head of Playable Ads Production to lead Hermes end to end. Hermes is our playable ads production organization, producing playables for top-tier mobile gaming clients using our internally developed AI tools.

You'll own Hermes' overall performance, organizational growth, and evolution into a scalable, efficient production system. Hermes operates across three pillars — Technical, Creative, and Execution — each led by a dedicated manager you'll develop and empower.

You'll be accountable for delivery, quality, and efficiency, while continuously improving the organizational structure, operating model, and workflows to support future growth. A key part of the role will be integrating our internally developed AI products into the production pipeline, driving automation, improving efficiency, and enabling the organization to scale.

You'll work closely with Partnership Growth, Product, R&D, and company leadership to align production capabilities with client needs and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the three Hermes pillar leads, building strong, independent managers and a pipeline of future leaders.
• Own organizational design, workforce planning, hiring, and budget, aligning team structure with production needs and business priorities.
• Own Hermes' delivery commitments, quality standards, and efficiency targets across all production teams.
• Establish clear performance metrics, reporting, and accountability, ensuring leadership has consistent visibility into production performance.
• Drive capacity planning, resource allocation, and proactive risk management to maintain reliable delivery as production scales.
• Define and continuously improve Hermes' operating model, establishing clear ownership, consistent workflows, and effective collaboration across the three pillars.
• Integrate our internally developed AI products into production workflows, prioritizing automation, productivity, and scalability over headcount growth.
• Partner with Product and R&D to translate production needs and feedback into technological improvements.
• Act as the primary production counterpart to Partnership Growth, aligning client priorities, delivery expectations, quality standards, and production capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and company leadership to translate business priorities into operational plans and ensure Hermes can support continued growth.
  
  

• 8+ years of experience in production or operations leadership in a high-volume environment such as a game studio, ad-tech company, or creative agency. Proven experience owning production pipelines, workflows, and delivery performance. Must-have.
• Experience managing managers and developing team leads into strong, independent leaders. Must-have.
• Strong data-driven approach, with experience setting performance targets, analyzing operational metrics, and translating insights into decisions and improvements. Must-have.
• A track record of improving and scaling production workflows, with a strong understanding of AI tools, automation, and their application in production environments.
• Experience leading remote, distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities, make decisions, and align teams around shared goals.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with the ability to lead meetings, create documentation, and communicate effectively with global teams.
• Ability to build structure, accountability, and scalable processes rather than relying on additional headcount to solve operational challenges.
• Proactive, decisive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment undergoing growth and organizational change.
  
  

• Hands-on experience in creative marketing, including UA creative, performance creative, or ad production.
• Experience working in a startup, in close partnership with R&D teams.
• Experience working with internally developed AI tools, beyond consumer products like ChatGPT.
