Senior Data Scientist

We're looking for a smart, driven, and highly autonomous Senior Data Scientist who enjoys solving hard problems and turning ideas into working solutions.
You'll work on the core intelligence of our ad-tech platform — from conversion prediction and bidding optimization to traffic quality and other ML-driven systems.
We value people who think deeply, take initiative, and care about results. We don't need someone who simply completes assigned tasks. We want someone who challenges assumptions, figures out what actually needs to be done, and takes ownership until the solution works.
This is a hands-on role with significant technical freedom. You'll independently drive complex projects from investigation and design to implementation and production, collaborating with engineers when needed.
We actively embrace AI-assisted development and expect you to leverage modern AI coding tools and agents to build better solutions faster.

• Own projects end-to-end: Take complex, loosely defined problems and independently drive them from initial investigation to production-ready solutions.
• Build real systems: Design and implement reliable ML pipelines, models, and production features — not just experiments and notebooks.
• Improve core algorithms: Develop and optimize conversion prediction, bidding strategies, and other ML-driven decision systems.
• Solve complex problems: Investigate unexpected model behavior, prediction biases, data quality issues, and performance anomalies. Find root causes rather than applying superficial fixes.
• Measure real impact: Design experiments, validate hypotheses, and ensure your solutions deliver measurable improvements in production.
• Work efficiently with AI: Use AI coding agents to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and implementation without compromising quality.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Applied ML, or related fields.
• Strong analytical thinking: Ability to understand complex systems, reason from first principles, challenge assumptions, and solve unfamiliar problems.
• Proven ownership: Track record of independently delivering substantial technical projects, not just contributing to them.
• Strong Python and SQL skills: Ability to write clean, reliable, maintainable code and build production-quality data and ML pipelines.
• Solid ML and mathematical foundations: Strong understanding of statistics, probability, machine learning, and experimental design.
• AI-assisted development experience: Comfortable using modern AI coding tools and agents to increase productivity while maintaining full control over code quality and correctness.
• Self-motivation and initiative: Genuine enthusiasm for solving challenging problems, learning new things, and driving projects forward without constant supervision.
• Accountability for results: You care whether your solution actually works, not just whether the implementation is finished.

• Experience in Ad-Tech, RTB, conversion prediction, or bidding optimization.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, and PyTorch.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining ML systems in production.
