About the Role

The Engineering and Development Center within IAI's Aviation Group is looking for an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze operational needs and derive system requirements.
• Define and document technical requirements.
• Support development processes and ensure compliance with requirements specified in relevant standards and specifications.
• Support system integration into the designated platform.
• Present and justify the system's electromagnetic compatibility compliance to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Physics – Mandatory.
• Master's degree – Advantage.
• Experience in electromagnetics – Mandatory.
• Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking) – Mandatory.
• Specialization in RF or Communications – Advantage.
• Familiarity with applicable military and civilian standards at both system and component levels – Advantage.
• Knowledge of electromagnetic interference coupling and emissions models for cables in both frequency and time domains – Advantage.
• Familiarity with safety requirements and safety margin calculations for Electro-Explosive Devices (EEDs) – Advantage.
• Experience with electromagnetic simulation software (such as CST) – Advantage.
• Experience using MATLAB for electromagnetic simulations – Advantage.
