EMI Engineer

We are looking for

Elbit Systems Aerospace Division in Haifa is looking for an EMC Engineer to join the Airborne Products Group

In this role, you will take part in developing advanced airborne systems operating in demanding electromagnetic environments and contribute to products that support critical defense missions. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, influence system architecture, and play a key role in ensuring compliance with stringent military and aviation standards

In this role you will

Define EMI/RFI and lightning protection architectures for products

Write test procedures in accordance with MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards

Performing Shielding Effectiveness simulations for products

Work Closely With Additional Engineering Disciplines Across The Company

Lead EMC testing activities according to applicable standards

Represent the company in technical reviews and discussions with customers in Israel and abroad

Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering

Experience in EMC engineering

Experience in development of EMI/RFI filters and PCB-level protection design - Advantage

Experience supporting PCB layout and reviewing board designs - Advantage

Experience in airborne engineering activities - Advantage

Experience with CST simulation software - Advantage

In-depth familiarity with relevant hardware components such as capacitors, inductors, transient voltage suppressors and protection devices

High level of English reading and writing skills

Experience in writing technical documents and presentations in English

Ability to work independently
