About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller with experience in the IT / high-tech industry to take ownership of the financial and accounting operations of our Israeli entity and oversee selected financial processes across our international operations.

This is a practical, hands-on role. You will personally manage key accounting and financial processes in Israel, oversee local accounting processes in Serbia and Ukraine, and manage banking and payment operations across the company’s international bank accounts, including accounts in the US and Cyprus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for the Israeli entity.
• Personally manage VAT, payroll, payments, expenses, and income in Israel.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review P&L statements and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with Israeli accounting and tax requirements.
• Oversee accounting processes and the work of local accountants in Serbia and Ukraine.
• Manage global payment processing across Israeli and international bank accounts, including accounts in the US and Cyprus.
• Monitor international banking operations, cash flow, balances, and cash movements across company accounts.
• Manage cross-border payments and transfers between company accounts.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations between group entities.
• Review financial data from international operations and ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax advisors, accountants, and other financial partners.
• Provide management with accurate and timely financial information and reporting.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on accounting experience in Israel.
• Experience in an IT / high-tech company - mandatory.
• Experience overseeing accounting processes and local or external accountants in international operations - mandatory.
• Strong practical knowledge of Israeli VAT, payroll, payments, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Experience managing international bank accounts, cross-border payments, and multi-currency transactions.
• Strong experience with P&L and financial reporting.
• Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Israeli CPA qualification.
• Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Fluent Hebrew and good English.
• Independent, highly accurate, and comfortable combining hands-on accounting with international financial oversight.
