UCT is looking for a talented Accountant II to join us in Israel!

The Accounts Payable Accountant will be part of the Accounting team and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of vendor accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with deadlines, and providing professional service to both suppliers and internal stakeholders. This is a temporary position for a period of approximately six months.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Process vendor invoices and verify accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure all required approvals are obtained.
• Perform regular vendor account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare supplier payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
• Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries and requests.
• Maintain and update vendor master data and accounts in the ERP system.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Work closely with internal departments, including Purchasing, Logistics, and other business functions.
• Participate in internal control and audit processes.
  
  

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bookkeeping Certificate (Type 2 or higher).
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable accounting.
• Experience working with accounting and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Position Details

Employment Scope: Full-time Duration: Approximately 6 months (Temporary Position)

Team Role: Member of the Accounting team, working closely with other accounting professionals and internal business partners across the organization.
