Senior Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer | Electronic Packaging & Thermal Design

For a leading technology company developing advanced multidisciplinary systems, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering team.

The role combines hands-on mechanical design, engineering analysis, multidisciplinary development, production support, and close interaction with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical solutions and enclosures for complex multidisciplinary systems.
• Develop ruggedized and industrial enclosures for airborne, ground-based, and advanced technological systems.
• Perform thermal, structural, and dynamic analyses using SOLIDWORKS Simulation.
• Design electronic packaging solutions with emphasis on passive and active heat dissipation.
• Work closely with Electronics Engineering teams throughout PCB development and layout processes.
• Support mechanical design reviews and present engineering solutions to customers, management, and multidisciplinary R&D teams.
• Support the transition from development to manufacturing.
• Coordinate and review mechanical manufacturing activities performed by subcontractors.
• Support assembly, integration, and system installation activities.
• Provide technical support during installations and customer activities in Israel and abroad.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and development.
• Proven experience in electronic packaging and mechanical enclosure design for complex systems.
• Proven hands-on experience performing structural and thermal analyses – mandatory.
• Experience designing thermal solutions using both passive and active cooling methods.
• Strong hands-on experience with SOLIDWORKS – mandatory.
• Experience with SOLIDWORKS Simulation.
• Experience with PDM systems – mandatory.
• Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes and transition from development to production.
• Experience working with subcontractors and mechanical manufacturers.
• Very good English, written and spoken.
