## About Level App

Level App is a software development house that helps entrepreneurs and companies turn ideas into successful products. Our founders are alumni of the IDF's elite technology units, **MAMRAM and Unit 8200**. We work alongside our clients through the whole journey: validating the idea, defining the product, writing the technical spec, UX/UI design, development and launch to the app stores.

We've built products for Samsung, the Technion, Babylon Software and many fast-growing startups. We believe great products come from careful planning before the first line of code, and from engineers who care about the business result as much as the tech.

## The Role

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the technical side of client projects from architecture to production. You'll work on several products, with lots of variety, and you'll help shape how Level App builds software. You'll work closely with our product, design and mobile teams, and often directly with founders.

## What You'll Do

- Design and build web systems end to end: backend services, APIs, databases and modern web front ends.

- Build the backends and APIs behind our Flutter mobile apps, including auth, payments, push notifications, real-time features and admin dashboards.

- Turn product and technical specs into sound architecture, and give honest estimates.

- Lead technical decisions on each project: stack, infrastructure, data model, third-party integrations.

- Own deployment and production: CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, performance and security.

- Take part in client meetings. Explain technical tradeoffs in plain language and help founders prioritize their MVP.

- Review code, mentor developers, and improve our shared tooling, templates and best practices.

- Keep quality high while moving at startup speed.

## What You'll Bring

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a full stack developer, with production systems you can point to.

- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills. Deep experience with **Node.js** (NestJS / Express or similar) and **React** (Next.js a plus).

- Experience with **Flutter/Dart** or other mobile development.

- Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase/Firestore).

- Experience designing REST APIs that mobile clients consume.

- Hands-on cloud and hosting experience (AWS, GCP, Firebase, Heroku, Netlify), Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Hands-on experience using **AI coding tools** (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in your daily work to deliver faster and more efficiently, while keeping code quality high.

- Experience building products from scratch (0→1), not only maintaining existing systems.

- **Curiosity and an open mind.** Every project brings a new domain, whether fintech, health, e-commerce or something else. You enjoy learning how each business works, and you bring creative thinking to new problems instead of reaching for the same solution every time.

- Good product sense, ownership and communication skills. You're comfortable talking with clients and non-technical stakeholders.

- Able to juggle several projects and priorities without letting quality slip.

- Fluent English and Hebrew.

## Nice to Have

- A background at a software house, agency or early-stage startup.

- Experience with payments (Stripe and Israeli payment providers), maps, real-time (WebSockets) or 3D/WebGL.

- Experience integrating AI/LLM features into products.

- Service in an IDF technology unit (MAMRAM, 8200, etc.) or a similar background.

- Monorepo experience (Turborepo / Nx).
