Engineering Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Engineering Manager based in Israel.

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead the day-to-day execution of a high-performing engineering team in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

You will combine technical leadership with people management, staying close enough to the work to guide decisions and maintain engineering quality.

Working closely with Product, Design, and senior engineering leadership, you will turn priorities into clear plans and reliable delivery.

You will help the team identify risks early, remove bottlenecks, and balance speed with long-term technical stability.

The role offers meaningful ownership over engineering execution while providing a clear path toward broader engineering leadership.

You will also contribute to hiring, onboarding, team development, and the evolution of engineering practices as the organization scales.

Accountabilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers through regular coaching, feedback, performance support, and career development.
• Own sprint planning, task allocation, delivery tracking, and execution in close collaboration with Product.
• Translate product and technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for the engineering team.
• Maintain high standards across code quality, documentation, testing, architecture, and technical debt management.
• Identify delivery risks, technical bottlenecks, and dependencies early, proactively communicating issues and proposing solutions.
• Partner with senior engineering leadership on team priorities, architectural decisions, development tooling, and engineering processes.
• Stay sufficiently hands-on with technical work to participate effectively in technical discussions and review engineering decisions.
• Support the hiring and onboarding of new engineering talent as the team expands.
• Keep delivery moving while protecting product quality, engineering stability, and sustainable team practices.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an engineering leadership or management position.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to lead technical discussions, evaluate engineering decisions, and provide meaningful technical guidance without needing to code every day.
• Hands-on experience with Bubble.io or strong familiarity with no-code and low-code development platforms.
• Proven experience managing software delivery in an agile environment, including sprint planning, prioritization, and execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
• A consultative, solutions-oriented mindset, with a willingness to surface challenges early and propose thoughtful approaches.
• Strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with AWS Lambda or comparable cloud infrastructure is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare products such as Workers and bindings is a plus.
• Experience with CRM integrations, APIs, or partner technology ecosystems is beneficial.
• Background in B2B SaaS, particularly partner relationship management or adjacent technology categories, is a plus.
