Head of Digital Transformation

General Purpose and Scope: Elcam Medical, a global manufacturer of disposable OEM components for the medical device industry, is seeking a Head of Digital Transformation to lead our global digital, automation and AI agenda across all company sites.

Role Purpose

Own Elcam's digital transformation portfolio end-to-end — from opportunity identification and prioritization through pilot, implementation, adoption, value realization and global scale-up. This is a business transformation role, distinct from IT and OPEX, working in close partnership with both. You'll be the single point of accountability for digital use-case delivery, ensuring initiatives solve real business problems, deliver measurable value, and meet medical-device quality, regulatory, cybersecurity and data-governance standards.

Scope: Full-time, global role spanning Israel, Italy and the Dominican Republic

Direct reports: Two Digital Transformation Use Case Specialists

Key interfaces: CEO, COO, Global IT, Global OPEX, Quality, Finance, HR, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial functions and site leadership

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Roadmap – Build a company-wide digital transformation roadmap, targeting the few themes where digital, automation and AI can materially move growth, quality, service, cost, working capital and time-to-market.
• Portfolio & Governance – Manage one transparent global portfolio of top-down and bottom-up use cases, with clear stage gates and start/stop/scale decisions.
• End-to-End Delivery – Lead cross-functional delivery from discovery to sustained use; scale successful pilots into standardized solutions across Elcam's five manufacturing sites.
• AI & Automation Enablement – Develop and govern a practical AI, automation and digital-manufacturing pipeline, encouraging safe experimentation and broad participation.
• Benefits Realization – Set baselines and targets, track value post-launch, and validate results with Finance.
• Change Management – Design communication, training and adoption plans; build a network of digital champions.
• Cross-Functional Partnership – Work closely with Global IT (architecture, security, data) and Global OPEX (Lean, process), while business owners retain accountability for outcomes.
• Team & Budget – Lead two Use Case Specialists, coordinate matrixed project teams, manage the function's annual budget.

Success Measures

Realized, Finance-validated value; delivery against milestones and budget; adoption of implemented solutions; number of solutions scaled across sites; portfolio quality (alignment, cycle time, risk control); growth in organizational digital/AI capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field (advanced degree a plus)
• 8–10+ years leading digital transformation, business transformation, Industry 4.0, automation, analytics or enterprise change programs
• Track record delivering cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation and value realization
• Strong grasp of AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation, analytics and digital manufacturing
• Experience in global, multi-site manufacturing; medical-device, pharma or other regulated industries a strong advantage
• Working knowledge of ERP, MES, PLM, WMS and data/analytics platforms
• Strong program/portfolio management: business cases, prioritization, stage-gate governance, vendor and budget management
• Fluent English and Hebrew; willingness to travel to company sites as needed
