Position Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Social Media & Marketing Manager to own our digital presence across Birthright Israel US/Canada, Birthright Israel UK, and Private Tailor Made Tours.

This role combines social media, content creation, email marketing, paid advertising, website management, and on-the-ground content. You'll have real ownership over our marketing strategy and creative output.

Your role:

Social Media:

• Manage and grow three Instagram accounts, plus TikTok and Facebook
• Own content calendars, posting schedules, and community engagement
• Track performance and adjust strategy to increase reach, engagement, and growth
• Stay current with trends and develop fresh content ideas

Content Creation

• Design flyers, ads, and marketing materials using Canva, Adobe, or similar
• Shoot, edit, and produce photo and video content for social and paid campaigns
• Develop authentic participant-focused stories and content
• Coordinate with staff and participants to capture content
• Manage ongoing website updates through Wix
• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity

E-mail & Advertising

• Plan and manage email campaigns and automated lead-nurturing workflows
• Create and manage paid social campaigns
• Monitor performance and optimise campaigns for results and ROI

On the Ground Engagement

• Visit groups during programs to capture authentic photo and video content
• Coordinate with operations and staff to attend key trip moments
• Build relationships with participants and help create community
• Lead Impact Sessions on the final day of trips, introducing participants to future opportunities and collecting leads

Marketing Team and Support

• Own social media and digital marketing strategy
• Plan campaigns around recruitment goals and seasonal pushes
• Help shape and develop the Tailor Made brand voice
• Support the admin team during busy periods with eligibility interviews, participant inquiries, email support, and Zoom orientations

Who we are looking for

• 2–4 years of marketing experience, preferably in travel, education, non-profit, or youth-focused industries
• Strong writing, design, and storytelling skills
• Experience managing and growing social media accounts
• Experience with email marketing tools (HubSpot) and advertising platforms
• Comfortable with Canva, CapCut, TikTok Studio, or similar
• Basic photo/video editing skills
• Experience with Wix
• Highly organised, creative, independent, and able to manage multiple projects
• Comfortable working both in the field and behind the scenes
• Native English speaker
• Passion for travel, experiential education, and community-building
