Senior PCB Layout Engineer & Professional Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Professional leadership of the circuit editor team, task distribution, prioritization and training.
• Editing complex and multi-layer circuits from the schematic stage to the preparation of production products.
• Performing Layout Reviews, quality checks and releasing products in the PLM system.
• Defining and implementing work methodologies, CheckList design rules.
• Working with hardware, mechanical, quality, operations and circuit manufacturers engineers.
• Supporting production problems, failure investigations, DFM/DFA improvements and supporting existing products.
• Maintaining component libraries, rules and CAD infrastructure.
• Examining and leading a possible transition from PADS to Altium or Cadence.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineer/electronics engineer
• At least 7 years of experience in circuit editing.
• Experience in editing complex and multi-layer circuits.
• Experience working with PADS, Altium Designer, Cadence or equivalent.
• Experience preparing manufacturing and assembly products and working with circuit manufacturers.
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA/DFT and engineering release processes.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and understand mechanical requirements.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Good technical English.
