Financial Core Systems Analyst

A leading financial organization is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to lead end-to-end specification processes for a unique and complex core system. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors in an Agile environment, defining interfaces, analyzing databases, working within a Mainframe environment, and guiding requirements from initiation, through account opening processes, all the way to production deployment.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of system analysis experience in medium-to-large organizations (Required).
• End-to-End Characterization: Proven track record of leading end-to-end specification processes, from requirements gathering to production deployment (Required).
• Domain Expertise: Strong background in the financial sector or with complex core systems (e.g., account opening processes).
• Methodologies & Databases: Hands-on experience with Agile methodology and working with relational databases (or equivalent tools).
• System Environment: Familiarity or background with Mainframe environments (or equivalent complex legacy systems) – Advantage.
• Soft Skills: Quick self-learner capable of mastering complex systems, strong systems thinking, and professional assertiveness.
