VYBS is a B2C rewards-play app. Users find games in our feed, install them, complete tasks inside the games and earn real cash. Our revenue comes from advertisers who pay for players that stay and progress, so design quality here is measured in numbers: activation, first-task completion, retention, ARPU.

The Role

We are looking for a Director of Product Design to own the product experience and build the design function at VYBS.

You will own UX across the entire product journey — from the moment a user opens the feed through game discovery, progression, rewards and cash-out — while shaping how design contributes to product strategy and business growth.

This is a senior leadership role with significant hands-on involvement. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Growth and Business, challenge assumptions, influence the roadmap, and establish a design practice that can scale with the company.

You will be accountable not only for the quality of the experience, but for the outcomes it drives: activation, first-task completion, retention, engagement and ARPU.

As the team grows, you will build and lead the design organization, including hiring, mentoring, processes and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the product design vision and strategy across the entire VYBS experience, from acquisition and onboarding through game discovery, engagement, rewards and cash-out.
• Translate business and product goals into a clear design strategy, identifying the biggest experience opportunities and prioritizing them based on user and business impact.
• Partner with Product and Business leadership on the product roadmap, influencing priorities and challenging assumptions when user insights or data do not support them.
• Take complex problems from problem definition to shipped experience — including research, user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, visual design and iteration.
• Establish clear design success metrics before features are built, and follow performance after launch to understand whether the experience actually moved the business.
• Lead a culture of experimentation and continuous optimization, using A/B testing and quantitative and qualitative insights to improve key funnel metrics.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Analytics to identify opportunities across the funnel and turn data into product and design decisions.
• Build and evolve the design function as VYBS scales — including hiring, mentoring, developing designers and establishing effective ways of working.
• Set a high bar for UX quality, consistency and usability across the product.
• Own and evolve the design system and design standards, in partnership with the UI designer and Engineering.
• Define and improve the team's design process, from discovery and prioritization through delivery and post-launch learning.
• Use AI tools as a core part of the design workflow, and help define where AI can create meaningful value inside the product itself.
• Represent the voice of the user in senior product and business discussions while balancing user needs with commercial goals.
• Stay close enough to the work to personally shape critical experiences and high-impact initiatives, while progressively moving from individual execution toward leadership and leverage.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design / UX, with significant experience in B2C mobile products and large user funnels. This is a must.
• Previous experience owning design for an entire product or major product area, rather than only individual features.
• Experience operating at a leadership level, influencing product strategy and business decisions beyond the design discipline.
• A strong track record of connecting design decisions to measurable business outcomes. You can point to specific metrics that changed because of your work and are comfortable discussing results with product, business and executive stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of consumer product funnels, engagement, retention and monetization.
• Experience leading or mentoring designers, with the ability to raise the quality and impact of a design team.
• Daily, practical use of AI design and productivity tools, combined with a clear point of view on where AI creates value and where it gets in the way.
• Strong product thinking and the ability to balance user needs, business objectives, data and technical constraints.
• Portfolio demonstrating ownership of shipped consumer products and meaningful product outcomes.
• Comfortable operating in an early-stage, high-ownership environment where priorities move quickly and ambiguity is part of the job.

An Advantage

• Background in gaming, rewarded ads, casual games or consumer monetization products.
• Familiarity with reward economies, streaks, progression, incentives and other engagement mechanics.
• Experience scaling a design function from an early-stage team.
• Experience working closely with Growth, Analytics or Monetization teams.
• Experience building experimentation-driven product organizations.
• Experience defining or evolving design systems across multiple product surfaces.

You will have built a clear and scalable design function, established design as a strategic partner to Product and Business, and materially improved the metrics that drive VYBS.

You will know which user problems matter most, why they matter to the business, and how to prove that design is moving the numbers.
