Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Core Systems Analyst with banking experience and a COBOL Mainframe development background for a leading organization in the Shfela area

Responsibilities

Join an existing team of systems analysts and developers

Gather and define business requirements with internal and external clients

Analyze existing systems and identify gaps against business needs

Translate business requirements into detailed HLD and DLD technical specifications

Support development, testing, and implementation throughout the project lifecycle until production

Manage and track work plans, Gantt charts, and milestones

Ensure system availability and business continuity

Work across multiple interfaces in a matrix environment

Requirements

Academic degree, Information Systems or Technology Practical Engineering diploma, Industrial Engineering and Management qualification, or relevant professional Systems Analysis courses

5 years of proven experience in Information Systems Analysis for COBOL MF core systems and working with developers

Experience in banking or financial environments

Knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server

Experience gathering business requirements, analyzing existing systems, and identifying gaps

Experience writing HLD and DLD technical specifications

Experience supporting development, testing, and implementation teams

Experience managing work plans, Gantt charts, and milestones
