Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a SOC Team Lead for an organization in Jerusalem

The role includes managing and leading a SOC team of 3 professionals responsible for monitoring, detecting, responding to, and investigating information security incidents across the organization's infrastructure

Responsibilities

Manage and lead a SOC team of 3 professionals

Manage cyber incidents end to end

Work with SIEM and SOC systems

Define monitoring rules and response scenarios

Coordinate with internal and external security stakeholders

Produce reports and performance metrics

Participate in shaping organizational information security policies

Requirements

5+ years of experience in information security, including at least 2 years in a similar role such as SOC Analyst or Incident Responder

Proven experience managing a technical team, with SOC team management experience considered a significant advantage

In-depth knowledge of SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, Google SecOps, or similar platforms

Knowledge of network protocols, Windows and Linux operating systems, and security tools including XDR, SASE, Firewall, and NAC

Experience monitoring, detecting, responding to, and investigating cyber incidents, including working with Detection Rules and Playbooks in SIEM systems

Ability to work in a multitasking environment, under pressure, and during emergency hours

Strong written and verbal communication skills, training and instructional capabilities, and information security certifications or professional training

Experience working with government or regulatory bodies

Knowledge of information security standards and regulations

Background in Forensics and advanced cyber incident investigations
