Backend Team Lead

We're looking for a talented and passionate Backend Engineer who can take full ownership of features -across infrastructure, backend logic, and API design - and work closely with the frontend to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

● Design, implement, and maintain backend services using NestJS

● Work withDB and Redis to build efficient data models and caching strategies

● Manage background processing with BullMQ

● Collaborate with frontend engineers working in React

● Own features from infrastructure to UI: design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor

● Contribute to architecture decisions and help shape our technical roadmap

● Work in a cloud-native environment and manage deployments, configuration, and

scalability.

Requierments

● 5+ years of experience with NodeJS, NestJS, Postgres, Redis, and job queues

● Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance

● Ability to take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, including frontend integration

Nice to Have:

● Cloud experience (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)

● Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code

● Experience with Amazon Aurora

● Familiarity with dbt or other data engineering tools

● Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and materialized views

● Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Materialize)
